Brute is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by his teams song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sluce displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brute throws out the jab.
Brute scores with a hook to the body. Sluce takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sluce shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brute sprawls well. Brute wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sluce gets slowly back to his feet.
Brute swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brute misses with a low kick.
Sluce shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Keembo Sluce has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sluce misses with a wild body shot.
Brute stuffs the takedown attempt from Sluce. Sluce gets slowly back to his feet.
Brute leaves Sluce with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keembo Sluce. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brute fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sluce manages to avoid it.

Sluce has Brute up against the cage in a clinch.

Brute manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brute throws a jab but it's blocked by Sluce.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Brute has cracked Sluce with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Brute lands another huge swinging hook and Sluce tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Sluce, before Brute can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bull Brute!
