Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorion Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seifer Shinra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinra has chosen Final Fantasy 7 Boss Battle Theme as his entrance music. The key to victory for Lorion Sane has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sane cracks Shinra with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shinra shoots in for a double leg but Sane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sane throws a jab when Shinra was well out of range.
Sane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Sane.

Shinra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sane was covering up waiting for the punch and Shinra finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Shinra passes Sane's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sane throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Shinra stands and throws Sane's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Shinra tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shinra on the ground.
Shinra looks up at the clock and then as Sane takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shinra smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A looping hook to the body misses from Shinra. Sane does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shinra.

Shinra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sane keeps working.

Shinra drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sane!

Shinra has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sane is working away from the top position though.
Sane thows a huge punch but Shinra dodges it nicely.

Shinra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
