Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maik Taison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pettis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eyeless. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Taison. Those never looked like landing.
Taison ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pettis moves out of range as Taison strikes.

The fighters circle momentarily. Taison darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Taison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pettis is fending him off so far but Taison persists. Nope, Pettis circles away and we're back to standing.

Taison cracks Pettis with an uppercut from hell and Pettis crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Taison's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Pettis is rocked!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
