Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rak Thamarak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dumme Fjas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rak Thamarak could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dumme Fjas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rak Thamarak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dumme Fjas!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjas shoots in but Thamarak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fjas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fjas dives in and scores a takedown into Thamarak's guard.
Fjas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Thamarak keeping moving, preventing Fjas from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fjas wants to pass the guard but Thamarak is keeping the position.

Fjas closes the distance and clinches up with Thamarak, looking for a takedown. Fjas pushes Thamarak against the cage but Thamarak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Thamarak thuds his right hand into Fjas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fjas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thamarak to the mat! Thamarak manages to get full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Thamarak counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Thamarak lands with a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dumme Fjas dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thamarak's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Thamarak duly obliges.
Thamarak leaves Fjas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fjas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thamarak to the ground. Fjas is now in Thamarak's guard.
Fjas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fjas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Thamarak wants to sweep here but Fjas controlling him for the moment.

Fjas won't allow Thamarak to get back to his feet.

Fjas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thamarak can pounce on him.
Thamarak tests Fjas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fjas shoots in for a double leg but Thamarak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Thamarak throws a combination. Fjas tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Thamarak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fjas.

Fjas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thamarak quickly recovers to half guard.

Fjas tries to move to mount but Thamarak blocks the move with his legs.
You can see the frustration on Thamarak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dumme Fjas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fjas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thamarak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fjas somewhat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thamarak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fjas takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fjas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Thamarak lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fjas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Thamarak connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fjas's hands.
Thamarak throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fjas on the side of the head.
Rak Thamarak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fjas is rocked!
Thamarak seems to be stalking Fjas here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Fjas drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
