The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paterson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Paterson shoots and misses
and Wolfwood makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Paterson walks into a left hand.
Paterson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like David Paterson has been cut.

and Wolfwood counters with a nice uppercut.

Paterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wolfwood walks away with a smile on his face. Paterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wolfwood connects with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Paterson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wolfwood connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Paterson scrambles back to his feet.
Wolfwood clinches up with Paterson and pushes him back against the cage.
Paterson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wolfwood just stands there and leans against the cage.
Paterson jumps guard but Wolfwood turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Wolfwood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wolfwood wants to get up but he can't break Paterson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Paterson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wolfwood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wolfwood has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Paterson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wolfwood is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Paterson pulls down on the head and he's put Wolfwood to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). David Paterson!
