The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas shoots for a takedown but Onderek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dallas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Onderek.
Onderek is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dallas's half guard.
Dallas is looking for a sweep. Onderek is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dallas shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Onderek eats them both and turns towards Dallas to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Oooooh!!! Dallas has knocked Onderek down with a huge combo! Dallas steps away and waves a wobbly Onderek back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Dallas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Onderek.
Oh Onderek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dallas lands a nice hook to Onderek's body. Onderek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Onderek fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Onderek seems to have got his legs back now.
Onderek takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dallas is looking to clinch but Onderek is avoiding it.

Dallas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Onderek takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Dallas uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Onderek has time to react.
Dallas throws a shot from downtown. Onderek moves away and avoids it.

Dallas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Onderek.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dallas is fighting off a takedown attempt but Onderek is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dallas to the mat. Dallas regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Onderek gets to his feet and stands over Dallas, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dallas felt that one! Onderek unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dallas from any more punishment!
