Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kulapu Saga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saga cracks a nice hook into Khan's ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Saga.
Saga scores with a body shot.
Khan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Khan fails with the takedown.
Saga wants to clinch up but Khan keeps it at a distance.
Saga goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Saga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Saga ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Khan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Saga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Khan sprawls well. Khan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saga gets slowly back to his feet.
Genghis Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulapu Saga.
Saga tries to close the distance and clinch but Khan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Saga tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Khan ducks right into an uppercut from Saga.
Khan shoots for a takedown but Saga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Saga misses with a kick to the body.
Khan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Saga connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Khan scrambles back to his feet.

Saga scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khan doesn't seem bothered though.

Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Saga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Saga wants to stand but Khan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Khan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Saga off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Saga is looking to clinch but Khan is avoiding it.
Khan shoots in but no luck this time.

The fight stays on the outside here - Saga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Saga takes the fight into the clinch.
Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Saga pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kulapu Saga dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Saga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Khan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saga but Saga pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Genghis Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Khan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Saga finds it's way round the side to connect with Khan's head.
Khan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Saga is fending him off so far but Khan persists. Nope, Saga circles away and we're back to standing.

Saga tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Saga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Khan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Saga gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Saga keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Khan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saga is looking to escape.

Khan looking to secure an arm triangle but Saga defends it well.
Khan prevents Saga from getting the reversal.

Khan has hold of Saga's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saga manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Khan tries to control but Saga wriggling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
