Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rigan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hei Jari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rigan Machado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jari works the jab nicely.
Jari takes a swing at Machado's ribcage but misses.
Machado tries to clinch there but Jari circles away.
Jari blocks a leg kick.

Jari tries to land a front kick but Machado steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jari lands with a hook. Machado tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Machado shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Machado showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machado is trying to control the action in half guard but Jari is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Machado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jari. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Jari scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Machado takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jari bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Machado pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Machado fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jari checks it well.

Jari lands with an uppercut that bounces Machado off the cage and back into range.

Machado fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jari avoids it really well and circles away.
Machado keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Machado has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Machado there as he acknowledges the shot.

Machado takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jari thuds his right hand into Machado's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Machado drops his hands momentarily and Jari takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Jari has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jari cracks Machado with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Machado tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jari pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Machado is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
