The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Congo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Congo throws a body punch but Mitzucuik moves out of range.
Mitzucuik throws a jab but it's blocked by Congo.
Congo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Kanu Mitzucuik has been cut.
Kanu Mitzucuik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mitzucuik swings for the body but Congo moves out of range.

Mitzucuik feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Congos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Congo pushes Mitzucuik up against the cage in a clinch.
Congo tries a knee to the head but Mitzucuik blocks it.
Mitzucuik stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Congo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Mitzucuik goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mitzucuik digs a right hand into Congo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Congo's gas tank.

Kanu Mitzucuik's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kanu Mitzucuik's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
