Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sub Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Levin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hero's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Giant Squid - Panthalassa. Ariel Levin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sub Hero's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sub Hero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Ariel Levin!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Levin moves away.
Levin moves out of range as Hero strikes.
Hero shoots in for a takedown but Levin shows good takedown defense.
Levin clobbers Hero with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Levin catches Hero with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hero checks a leg kick.
Levin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hero.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hero darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hero needs to keep his hands up - Levin had a free shot at his head there.
Hero is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Levin.
Levin misses with a low kick.
Hero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hero ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Levin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hero.
Levin connects with a nice looking jab.

Levin feints and then cracks Hero's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hero down.

Hero lunges at Levin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Levin's hand.
Levin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hero throws a jab but it's blocked by Levin.
Levin misses with a leg kick
and Hero counters with a left to the body.
Hero keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Levin ducks under a wild hook from Hero.
Levin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Levin misses with an uppercut.

Hero shoots in and gets a takedown into Levin's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hero trying to control but Levin is working from the bottom.
Levin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Levin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hero forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Levin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hero.
Levin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Levin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hero trying to control the position from guard on top but Levin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Levin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hero passes into half guard.
Hero frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hero lands with some strikes.

Hero throwing strikes here but Levin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Levin wants to hold on but Hero pushes him away.

Hero takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Levin tries to hold on but Hero pushes him away.
Levin is squirming around, avoiding Hero's attempts to control the action.
Hero lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Levin holds on, trying desperately to control.
Hero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Levin is desperately trying to improve his position but Hero has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sub Hero dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Hero avoids the body shot from Levin.
Levin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hero manages to avoid it.
Levin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Levin throws a jab but it's blocked by Hero.
Levin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Levin was well out of range. Poor timing from Hero.
Hero throws a hook but Levin blocks it.

Hero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hero is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Levin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hero's best efforts.

Hero takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hero prevents Levin from improving his position.
Still in half guard, Hero seems content to control.
Levin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hero is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hero is looking to take a break and control but Levin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hero slips a jab from Levin.
Hero has a takedown stuffed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Levin shoots in but Hero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Levin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hero throws a big shot that misses.
Hero closes the distance and clinches up with Levin, looking for a takedown. Hero pushes Levin against the cage but Levin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Levin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Levin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Levin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Levin looks to land a strike but Hero avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Levin stopping the sweep attempt from Hero.

Levin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hero swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hero manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Levin is looking to improve his position but Hero isn't that keen on the idea.

Hero tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Levin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hero.

Hero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Levin sprawls well. Levin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hero gets slowly back to his feet.

Hero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Levin quickly recovers to half guard.

Hero is trying to work for a kimura but Levin is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hero works his way into full mount!
The referee warns Levin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hero prevents Levin from getting the reversal.
Levin tries to lock up and control but Hero gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hero lands a heavy elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hero is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Levin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hero avoids the attempt from Levin to control.
Hero lands a big elbow.
Hero looking to control and managing it successfully.
Levin is in all sorts of trouble here.

Levin is rocked!
A big strike lands for Hero! That's really hurt Levin and he's turned his back - Hero keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hero jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sub Hero!
