Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Poki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nobody gets out alive. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poki throws a half hearted mid kick.
Wood gets caught flat footed, as Poki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wood wants to get back to his feet but Poki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Poki is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Wood has managed to free his arm - good work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wood is covering up but some of the strikes from Poki are getting through and doing damage.
Wood is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Poki.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon Wood will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Wood is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Poki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Poki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wood has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wood and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A punch lands to the side of Poki 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Poki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Poki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Wood counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Poki!
