Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Koistinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ted Danielson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Juha Koistinen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Koistinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ted Danielson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson tries to clinch but Koistinen is having none of it.
Nice takedown defense from Danielson. No joy for Koistinen on that attempt.
Koistinen takes one to the chin there.
Koistinen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danielson tries to avoid it but Koistinen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danielson to the ground. Danielson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Koistinen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Danielson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Koistinen scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheers as Danielson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Koistinen doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koistinen misses with a series of wild punches.
Koistinen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Danielson's waist but Danielson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koistinen off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juha Koistinen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Danielson lands a lovely overhand right.
Koistinen shoots in for a takedown but Danielson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Koistinen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Danielson throws a nice looking combination but Koistinen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ted Danielson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Danielson closes the distance and clinches.
Koistinen jumps guard but Danielson stands there with Koistinen around his waist. Koistinen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Danielson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Koistinen backwards.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Danielson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Danielson lands a shoulder strike.

Danielson tightens his grip and picks Koistinen up, before dumping him to the ground. Koistinen manages to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Koistinen is looking for a triangle but Danielson pushes his legs off easily.

Koistinen has his foot on Danielson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Danielson works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koistinen is looking to sinch up a triangle. Danielson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Koistinen's body to avoid the submission. Koistinen has instead reached around Danielson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Koistinen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Juha Koistinen!
After the fight, Juha Koistinen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
