Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Babbage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babbage comes to the cage accompanied by Get baked. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dengel's choice of entrance music: First Of The Year (Equinox). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel tries to clinch up but Babbage circles away and keeps his distance.
Babbage misses the jab.
Babbage throws out a powerful jab.
Dengel misses with a looping left.
Babbage scores with the left hand. Dengel knows he should have avoided that one.
Dengel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Babbage looks to land a right hand but Dengel moved out of range.
Babbage misses with a low kick.
Dengel throws a body punch but Babbage moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dengel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Babbage has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Babbage and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dengel closes the distance and clinches up with Babbage, looking for a takedown. Dengel pushes Babbage against the cage but Babbage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Babbage misses the shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Babbage. That's going to slow Dengel down.

Dengel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Babbage was well out of range. Poor timing from Dengel.
Dengel throws a lazy right hand but Babbage sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dengel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Babbage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Babbage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Babbage.

It looks like Gus Dengel has been cut.

Babbage fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Babbage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dengel.
Dengel moves in looking to clinch but Babbage pushes him off.
Dengel throws a hook to the side of Babbage's head but Babbage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dengel punishes Babbage's body with a nice straight punch.
Dengel misses the shot to the body.
Dengel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Babbage cracks a nice hook into Dengel's ribs.
Babbage misses with an attempted mid kick.
Babbage displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Dengel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Babbage to score with a decent uppercut.
Dengel throws a low kick, looking for Babbage's leg but Babbage calmly moves out of range.
Dengel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babbage moves away.

Babbage throws a shot to the body.
Dengel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dengel throws a body kick that misses.
Dengel moves out of range of the leg kick from Babbage.
A punch lands to the side of Dengel 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Dengel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Babbage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Babbage steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dengel.
Dengel throws a nice outside leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dengel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Babbage is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Dengel moves out of range as Babbage strikes.
Dengel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Dengel is rocked!
Dengel is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Babbage rather than just go for the knockout.
Babbage cracks Dengel on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dengel falls backwards against the cage. Babbage follows up with more strikes that drop Dengel to his knees. Babbage keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dengel! This one is all over!
