Rogers has chosen American Badass by Kid Rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French misses with a takedown attempt
and Rogers counters with a head kick.
Rogers lands a really nice looking cross but French seems unphased.
French tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it.
French has his takedown stuffed
and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps French thinking.
French looks to throw the jab but Rogers is out of range.
French slips a straight right by Rogers.
French throws a shot from downtown. Rogers moves away and avoids it.
French lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
French tries to clinch but Rogers moves away
and Rogers counters with a good low kick that French was not able to check.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rogers.
French shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed French's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay French. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rogers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rogers.

French misses with an uppercut. Rogers saw that one coming.
Rogers misses with a series of wild punches.
Rogers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rogers throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but French moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rogers scores with a sloppy right hand. French should have avoided that one.
French throws a low kick, looking for Rogers's leg but Rogers calmly moves out of range.
French looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch lands to the side of French 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
French throws a head kick that misses.

Rogers lands a big head kick that sends French tumbling to the mat! Rogers takes a step backwards and waves French back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Clay French has been cut.
Rogers throws an overhand right that drops French like a sack of potatoes! Rogers dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
