The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reincarneited closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Reincarneited sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Davis is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Reincarneited wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davis, who protects the arm well.

Reincarneited looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Davis has picked Reincarneited up and slammed him! Reincarneited can't keep hold of the triangle and Davis manages to pass to side control!

Reincarneited is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Reincarneited eventually gives up the hold.

Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reincarneited paws at him with a jab and circles away.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Phil Davis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Davis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Reincarneited manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Davis on his heels. He'll look to pass Davis's guard now, I'm sure.
