The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubnyk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dubnyk moves away from the strike by Lytle.

Dubnyk has Lytle up against the cage in a clinch.
Dubnyk tries to work over Lytle's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Dubnyk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lytle moves away.

Lytle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lytle tries a head kick but it misses.
Lytle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lytle doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dubnyk throws a series of punches but Lytle avoids them all with ease.

Lytle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dubnyk just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dubnyk keeps the fight on the outside.
Dubnyk is looking to clinch but Lytle is avoiding it.
Dubnyk blocks the body kick.
Lytle fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dubnyk on the side of the head.
Lytle and Dubnyk are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lytle throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Dubnyk into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lytle knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
