PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalifa Khalifa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Quadros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalifa comes to the cage accompanied by Random Arab Music. Quadros has chosen Pride Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Quadros as Khalifa shoots in.
Khalifa shoots for a takedown but Quadros saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Quadros lands a jab.
Khalifa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quadros's waist but Quadros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Khalifa off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khalifa Khalifa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Quadros.
Khalifa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Quadros. Quadros obviously looking to wear him down.
Quadros tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Khalifa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Khalifa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Quadros. That one must have hurt.
Khalifa is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Quadros throws a nice head kick!
Khalifa shoots in looking for a takedown but Quadros manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khalifa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Quadros throws a head kick that Khalifa semi-blocks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quadros cracks the inside of Khalifa's front leg.
Khalifa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Quadros scores with a spinning back kick!
Quadros fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Khalifa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Quadros lands a big head kick that sends Khalifa tumbling to the mat! Quadros takes a step backwards and waves Khalifa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Khalifa is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A chopping leg kick lands by Quadros.
Oh Khalifa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Quadros throws a powerful right kick. Khalifa tried to block low but the kick was high! Khalifa was taken right off of his feet! Quadros jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
