The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byyri tests Berkovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Byyri misses with an uppercut. Berkovic saw that one coming.
Byyri rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Berkovic counters with a nice uppercut.
Berkovic swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Byyri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Berkovic's head backwards.

It looks like Mario Berkovic has been cut.
Byyri scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berkovic wants to clinch but Byyri slips to the side
and Byyri counters with a straight right hand.
Berkovic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Berkovic throws the left hand but Byyri avoids the punch easily.
Berkovic is looking to clinch.
Berkovic takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Byyri slaps away a takedown attempt from Berkovic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Byyri cracks Berkovic with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Berkovic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Byyri is fending him off so far but Berkovic persists. Nope, Byyri circles away and we're back to standing.

Berkovic throws out a loose jab but Byyri uses good head movement to avoid it.

Byyri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berkovic manages to avoid it.
Berkovic gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Berkovic tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Byyri is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Berkovic buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Berkovic!! Berkovic is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Byyri throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
