Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xande Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Original Nuttah!. Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dope - I'm Back. Mark Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Brown!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brown gets back to full guard.
Gracie trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Brown manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Brown trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown.
Brown won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Brown landing some decent shots from guard.
Brown distracts Gracie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Brown chips away with some ground and pound.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Brown lands a couple of elbows.
Brown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gracie's head.
Brown postures up in Gracie's guard and throws a big left but Gracie blocks it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Brown with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Gracie's guard.
Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie is trying to control the position but Brown postures up.
Brown lands a couple of elbows.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard.
Brown looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Brown keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mark Brown.
Gracie misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard.
Brown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Gracie has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gracie is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mark Brown!
Mark Brown spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
