The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Palms bucks up and throws Wilson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Palms takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Palms walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wilson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Palms throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson.
Palms stalks Wilson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilson's face. Wilson staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

No joy there for Palms, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wilson! Submission of the night perhaps?
