Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Matsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Surprise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsu comes to the cage accompanied by LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It. Surprise has chosen Remember my NAME! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hatsu Matsu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ace Surprise!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Surprise lands a right hook to the body.
Matsu takes a swing at Surprise's ribcage but misses.
Surprise missing with a left hand there. Matsu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Surprise connects with a jab.
Surprise uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Surprise scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Hatsu Matsu has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matsu jabs at Surprise's body.
Surprise lands a nice shot that snaps Matsu's head back.
Matsu sizes up Surprise with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fighters circle momentarily. Surprise darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Matsu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Surprise.

Matsu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Surprise's half guard.

Matsu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Surprise has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matsu has managed to get both his arms back between Surprise's legs - danger averted.

Surprise takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Surprise on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Surprise dodges the punch combination from Matsu.
Horrible takedown by Matsu or perhaps it was just good defense by Surprise which made him look bad.
Matsu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Surprise might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Matsu kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hatsu Matsu really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [CBK] LEGAL HIGHS ↑ 160Q STAMINA + ENERGY logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
