Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Hearst Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Moukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan's entrance music is The Game. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Moukari's choice of entrance music: Tech N9ne - Stress Relief. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Hearst Hogan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kari Moukari!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hogan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hogan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moukari circles away.
Moukari tries to clinch up.
Hogan throws a leg kick but Moukari moved away.

Hogan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hogan moves into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hogan scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moukari's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moukari regains half guard.
Hogan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Moukari is looking to escape.
Moukari is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hogan scores with a couple of nice shots.
Moukari is trying to stand up here but Hogan is controlling him well.

Moukari pushes Hogan off looking to stand but Hogan dives back in and keeps control.
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hogan wants to work for an arm triangle but Moukari is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Moukari makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Hogan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moukari tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hogan is in Moukari's guard.
Moukari wants to get back to his feet but Hogan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hogan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hogan wants to control from the top but Moukari keeps moving.

Moukari kicks Hogan off and gets to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moukari paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hogan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kari Moukari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hogan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moukari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moukari displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hogan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Hearst Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That kick from Moukari tenderised Hogan's leg. Hogan is trying to keep his angry face on.

Moukari scores with a sloppy right hand. Hogan should have avoided that one.


It looks like Hunter Hearst Hogan has been cut.
Hogan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Moukari checks it well.
Moukari looks to land a body kick but Hogan moved away.
Hogan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Moukari tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hogan was well out of range. Poor timing from Moukari.
Moukari closes the distance looking to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hogan lands with a nice body punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hogan can't find room to land a body shot as Moukari controls the action.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Moukari is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hogan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hunter Hearst Hogan will probably get the nod.

Moukari blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hunter Hearst Hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Moukari tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Hogan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moukari is looking to escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moukari is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hogan prevents Moukari from getting the reversal.

You get the feeling that Moukari really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The referee warns Moukari that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moukari is looking to escape.
Hogan postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Moukari in real trouble here! The ref calls for Moukari to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hunter Hearst Hogan!

Hunter Hearst Hogan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
