The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandit feints and as Head raises his hands in defense, Bandit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Head keeping moving, preventing Bandit from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bandit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Head bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bandit's guard.
Head must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bandit is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Head is aware though and is defending well.
Bandit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Let's hope that Head has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Head is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bandit is just riding it out for now. Head eventually gives up the hold.
