The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayuki avoids the head kick by Vengeance.
Takayuki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vengeance circles away.
Takayuki blocks a head kick by Vengeance.
Vengeance throws a head kick that misses.
Takayuki feints and as Vengeance raises his hands in defense, Takayuki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Vengeance has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Takayuki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Takayuki pushes down on Vengeance's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Takayuki seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Vengeance is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
