Nort kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Riverside - Forgotten Land. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nort tries to score with a low kick but Laputa moves his leg out of the way.
Laputa scores with a nice head shot.
Nort circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nort misses with a leg kick.
Laputa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nort throws a front kick that sends Laputa stumbling back into the cage.
Laputa tries to score with a low kick but Nort moves his leg out of the way.
Nort moves out of range as Laputa throws a body kick.
Laputa throws a head kick but Nort moves out of range.
Nort looks to score with a jab to the body but Laputa is just out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Laputa drops his hands momentarily and Nort takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Kirk Laputa has been cut.
Laputa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nort manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nort turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Laputa looks gassed!
Laputa takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nort.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nort, right into the meat.
Nort lands an overhand right.

Nort scoring well with a low kick there.
Nort is looking to slow Laputa down with leg kicks.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nort lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Laputa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Laputa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nort lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nort. Laputa shrugs it off though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nort lands an overhand right.
Nort moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Nort sends Laputa crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nort is motioning to the referee to let Laputa up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

That has opened up Kirk Laputa's cut even more.
