The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mouse moves into range and clinches up with Dignam.

Mouse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dignam manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mouse manages to get himself to full guard.

Mouse is working Dignam over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mouse lands a couple of digs.
Mouse throws a strike but Dignam rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Dignam drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mouse dives on top into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mouse's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dignam looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mouse passes into half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dignam takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Sean Dignam has been cut.
Dignam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mouse sprawls well. Mouse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dignam gets slowly back to his feet.

Mouse shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Mouse.
Dignam is looking for a sweep. Mouse is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mouse connects with a nice short shot to Dignam's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mouse distracts Dignam with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Dignam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dignam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mouse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dignam sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mouse's guard.

Dignam lands a big shot there that rocks Mouse but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Dignam is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Mouse is trying desperately to improve position.

Mouse is rocked!
Dignam loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mouse scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dignam land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dignam stands and salutes the crowd.
