The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Young moves into the clinch successfully.
Samuel has Young pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Young manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Young gets underhooks to prevent Samuel's takedown attempt.
Young gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Samuel.
Mario Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Samuel.

Young is breathing heavily.
Samuel winds up and cracks Young with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Samuel is nestled in close to Young, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
