Lawson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Another Victory. Eric Lawson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charalabous throws a lazy right hand but Lawson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lawson scores with a sloppy right hand. Charalabous should have avoided that one.
Lawson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Charalabous explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Charalabous clobbers Lawson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Charalabous throws a sloppy head kick and Lawson moves out of range easily.
Kostas Charalabous seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lawson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lawson looks to throw the jab but Charalabous is out of range.
Charalabous gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Charalabous throws a shot to the body.
Charalabous fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lawson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Charalabous bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Eric Lawson has been cut.

Charalabous misses with an uppercut. Lawson saw that one coming.
Lawson misses with a lunging right hand
and Charalabous counters with a nice body kick.
Charalabous lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Charalabous pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Charalabous. Lawson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Charalabous throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lawson's head.
Lawson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Lawson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Charalabous slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Charalabous catches Lawson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lawson is rocked!
Lawson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Charalabous lands a right hand from hell, dropping Lawson. Charalabous pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
