Case is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aki & Turo - Mahtisonni. Dimitri De Wilde has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dimitri De Wilde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Case!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. De Wilde eats them both and turns towards Case to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Dimitri De Wilde has been cut.
Case throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
De Wilde lands a leg kick that knocks Case off balance momentarily.

Case moves into the clinch.

Case successfully pulls guard.
De Wilde lands a couple of digs.
Case wants to sweep but no luck.
De Wilde trying to control but Case is working from the bottom.
Case is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
De Wilde postures up in Case's guard and throws a big left but Case blocks it.
Case really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Wilde. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Case is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and De Wilde dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Wilde with the ground and pound but Case regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Case pushes De Wilde off looking to stand but De Wilde dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Case blocking the ground and pound attempt from De Wilde.
De Wilde is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Case!
De Wilde scores with a couple of good head shots there.
De Wilde unloads with some shots from mount but Case bucks and avoids them well.

Case is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Case is trying desperately to improve position.
De Wilde with the ground and pound from mount.


It looks like Justin Case has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Wilde working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Case blocking the ground and pound.

Case reaches up and pulls De Wilde towards him, trying to control the position. De Wilde manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Case! Case tries to roll over - now De Wilde is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Case has to tap out! Great work there by De Wilde!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dimitri De Wilde!
