Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guadeloupe Canal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahut Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canal comes into the arena with Revientense Todos blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uno uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Canal .

Uno moves into the clinch.

Canal goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Uno using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Canal has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Canal 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Uno doesn't manage to clinch there - Canal circles away.

Uno gets a takedown into half guard.

Uno is keen to just control but Canal is a slippery customer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Uno seems to be working for a kimura but Canal defends the submission attempt.

Uno frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Canal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Canal is in a horrible position here. Uno smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Canal is desperately trying to improve his position but Uno has a good base and remains in mount.

Canal tries to hold on but Uno pushes him away.

Uno looking to control but Canal is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Canal is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Uno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Canal is trying to stand.
Canal sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mahut Uno dominated that round.
That's time! Canal 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Uno connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Canal momentarily.

Canal tries to throw a body punch but Uno avoids it by throwing Canal back against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
