The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paukuttaja moves out of range of the body kick from Mulqvist.
Mulqvist tries to close the distance and clinch but Paukuttaja swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Paukuttaja rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mulqvist counters with a slapping leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paukuttaja. Mulqvist does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mulqvist uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Paukuttaja.

Harri Mulqvist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mulqvist is trying desperately to land a takedown but Paukuttaja is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mulqvist.
Mulqvist closes the distance and clinches up with Paukuttaja, looking for a takedown. Mulqvist pushes Paukuttaja against the cage but Paukuttaja circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nice uppercut lands for Paukuttaja. That snapped Mulqvist's head back.
Paukuttaja cracks Mulqvist with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Paukuttaja has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mulqvist to stand back up!

Paukuttaja cracks Mulqvist on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mulqvist falls backwards against the cage. Paukuttaja follows up with more strikes that drop Mulqvist to his knees. Paukuttaja keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mulqvist! This one is all over!

After the fight, Pate Paukuttaja was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
