Al Mansur is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Rock - Mustapha Ibrahim. Dennis Quade has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Mansur goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Al Mansur throws a quick inside leg kick.
Al Mansur pushes Quade away with a front kick.
Dennis Quade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Quade has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dennis Quade.
Quade changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Al Mansur looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Quade is squirming around, avoiding Al Mansur's attempts to control the action.

Quade wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Al Mansur looking to secure an arm triangle but Quade defends it well.
Quade is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Al Mansur has hold of Quade's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Quade manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Al Mansur working for a guillotine from mount but Quade is in no mood to give up.
Quade really wants to buck Al Mansur off and get back to his feet.

Al Mansur is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Quade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Al Mansur mounts Quade! Really nice guard pass there!
Al Mansur throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Quade because Al Mansur loaded up on that one.
Quade holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Al Mansur tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Quade is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Al Mansur has taken his back!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Al Mansur thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Al Mansur is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Quade is defending well though. Al Mansur let's go of the attempt for now.
