Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JP Hespanhol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castillo clinches up with Hespanhol and pushes him back against the cage.
Castillo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Castillo tries to break free but Hespanhol pushes him back against the cage.
Hespanhol jumps guard but Castillo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Castillo has picked Hespanhol up - he's going for a ride! Castillo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Hespanhol throws a strike but Castillo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Castillo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hespanhol is looking to regain half guard here but Castillo keeps moving and retains side control.

Well Castillo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
