Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davids tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McFadden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Davids tries to close the distance and clinch but McFadden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McFadden shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McFadden tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davids swivels and escapes.

and Davids counters with a low kick, right behind McFadden 's knee.

Davids dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McFadden. That did some damage!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McFadden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

McFadden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McFadden lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McFadden not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

McFadden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Davids kicks McFadden off and gets back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McFadden jumps guard but Davids stands there with McFadden around his waist. McFadden gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Edgar Davids seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Davids enables McFadden to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davids manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McFadden wants to pass the guard but Davids is keeping the position.

McFadden is looking to work some ground and pound but Davids has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McFadden has his foot on Davids's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davids works his way back into a safe position though.
McFadden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McFadden wants to sweep here but Davids controlling him for the moment.
Davids wants to control from the top but McFadden keeps moving.

McFadden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davids doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McFadden is tightening it up a little... Davids has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Davids reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Davids taps out! Nice BJJ there by McFadden!
