Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TheRed lands a slapping body shot.
A nice combination there by TheRed.
TheRed moves in looking to clinch but Perkins pushes him off.
TheRed moves into the clinch successfully.
Perkins misses with a knee strike.
Perkins has TheRed pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Perkins pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending TheRed tumbling to the mat - Perkins dives into TheRed's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

TheRed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perkins.

Perkins cracks TheRed with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Perkins postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have TheRed in real trouble here! The ref calls for TheRed to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
