Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ashcroft fails with the takedown.
Rodriguez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ashcroft stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ashcroft tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rodriguez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ashcroft can do to turn this around?
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ashcroft crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rodriguez - the referee stops the clock and Ashcroft gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rodriguez. Ashcroft manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rodriguez sizes up Ashcroft with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Nines Rodriguez is winning the standup battle so far.
Rodriguez drops Ashcroft with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rodriguez follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
