Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Young!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack has a takedown stuffed.
Some wild striking there from Young.

Young gets caught flat footed, as Jack shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Young wants to stand and escape but Jack is having none of it.
Jack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Young works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jack won't allow Young to get back to his feet.
Jack cracks Young with a solid left hand.
Jack throws a strike but Young rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Young wants to get up but he can't break Jack's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alexander Young.
Sloppy strikes from Young. Those never looked like landing.
Alexander Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jack looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jack working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jack throws a strike but Young rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Jack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jack tries to get out of the position.
Young wants to stand and escape but instead Jack has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Jack throws a big elbow that misses.
Young wants to get back to his feet but Jack is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Young utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Young is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jack, into his guard.

Young stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Young throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease.
Young's corner calls for a 1-2. Young obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No joy there for Young, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jack looks for a takedown but Young sprawls well.
Young fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jack closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jack tries for a kimura but Young is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jack working the ground and pound.

Jack goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Young has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jack but great work by Young.
Jack tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Young has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Young throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Jack dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Jack tries to score a power double leg takedown but Young sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jack somewhat.
Young throws a right and a left that Jack avoids nicely.
Jack fails with the takedown.

Jack shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jack was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jack throws some wild stikes that Young manages to avoid easily.
Jack with a couple of short strikes.
Dwayne Jack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jack is landing with some decent strikes but Young is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jack lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jack breaks from Young's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Young really wants to buck Jack off and get back to his feet.
Young taking shots to the head.
Jack working away from the top, dropping strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Young wants to try and get back to his feet.
Jack lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
A nice elbow there by Jack.
Jack connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jack pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jack is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Young can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Young is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jack has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Young's face.
Young is still in real trouble! Can Jack finish him?
Young is breathing heavily.
Jack cracks Young with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dwayne Jack!
