Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes into the arena with Are You Ready? blaring out of the sound system. Henry Case has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Mendez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Case!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case lands with a kick to the temple. Mendez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mendez tries to bum rush Case with a series of wild strikes but Case uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Case lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mendez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mendez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Case throws a sloppy head kick and Mendez moves out of range easily.
Mendez moves out of range of the body kick.
Henry Case seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Case is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Case with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mendez to score with a decent uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Case looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Case misses with a leg kick.
Mendez throws a series of punches but Case moves out of range.
Case doesn't manage to clinch there - Mendez circles away.

Case dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mendez. That did some damage!

Case's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mendez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mendez manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
