Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huan Mexican (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huan Mexican struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Huan Mexican will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mexican.
Silva throws a right and a left that Mexican avoids nicely.
Mexican dodges the punch combination from Silva.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mexican.
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mexican walks into a jab.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mexican back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Mexican turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mexican manages to end up in side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

and Mexican counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mexican takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Silva is looking to control Mexican's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?

Mexican decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and Mexican counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
