Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Harrod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrod comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Laid to Rest kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrod fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harrod closes the distance and clinches up with Chase, looking for a takedown. Harrod pushes Chase against the cage but Chase circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chase shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harrod but Harrod pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chase keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
John Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb Harrod.
Harrod fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chase shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Chase has control of Harrod's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Harrod regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Chase throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Harrod because Chase loaded up on that one.
Chase wants to take Harrod's back here but Harrod is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Harrod is wriggling around trying to escape.
Chase looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Chase looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chase looking to secure an arm triangle but Harrod defends it well.
Chase is breathing heavily.
Harrod is wriggling around trying to escape.
Harrod throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Chase throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Harrod has his hands clasped together but Chase breaks the hold and Harrod is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Chase!
