Baum shoots in looking for a takedown. Foote tries to sprawl out of it but Baum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Foote manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foote throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Baum stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Foote closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Baum quickly recovers to half guard.

Foote working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That has opened up Adam Baum's cut even more.
Foote thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Foote winds up and cracks Baum with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Adam Baum's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Adam Baum's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
