PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Clem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roland Box (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clem might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Full Trucker Effect. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clem throws a nice inside leg kick.
Clem throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Clem feints and then cracks Box's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Box down.

Box shoots in looking for a takedown. Clem tries to sprawl out of it but Box keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Box takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Clem tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Box manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Clem creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Clem throws a big uppercut that drops Box! More strikes from Clem and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Box lies dazed against the cage as Clem celebrates with his cornermen!
