Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders tries a head kick but it misses.
Saunders lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ryan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ryan looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ryan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Saunders. That one must have hurt.
Saunders feints and then cracks Ryan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ryan down.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Saunders - that will leave a mark!
Crack! A monster head kick from Saunders and Ryan falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Saunders!

A relieved looking Dan Saunders thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
