And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viko Maafala!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Namanumie or perhaps it was just good defense by Maafala which made him look bad.
Namanumie shoots in but Maafala avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Namanumie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Namanumie trying to control the position from guard on top but Maafala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maafala is trying to keep Namanumie in close.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maafala is on top in guard.
Maafala postures up in Namanumie's guard and throws a big left but Namanumie blocks it.

Lama Namanumie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maafala shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maafala showed some decent athleticism there.

Namanumie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Maafala rolls with it to try and escape but Namanumie cranks on the arm and Maafala is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
