Nabijos comes to the cage accompanied by TRAFFIC JAM. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schulte throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nabijos counters with a good low kick that Schulte was not able to check.
Nabijos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Schulte looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Schulte uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nabijos.
Nabijos throws the left hand but Schulte avoids the punch easily.
Nabijos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nabijos thows a body kick. Schulte tries to catch it but that hurt him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Schulte crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nabijos - the referee stops the clock and Schulte gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nabijos. Schulte manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Schulte's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Nabijos lands a left and a right that send Schulte crashing to the mat, dazed. Nabijos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
José Nabijos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nabijos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schulte. That did some damage!
Nabijos thuds a left hand into Schulte's body.
Schulte gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nabijos gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
