Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eskil Lemmelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemmelin comes to the cage accompanied by Fönt ja en körv. Mayer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I´m shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphys. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemmelin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lemmelin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lemmelin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mayer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Lemmelin. Those never looked like landing.
Mayer moves out of range of the strikes.
Mayer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lemmelin.
Lemmelin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mayer takes a swing at Lemmelin's ribcage but misses.
Mayer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mayer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lemmelin.

and Mayer counters with a three punch combo that has Lemmelin backing up. Lemmelin nods at Mayer to acknowledge the strikes.

Mayer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lemmelin at a distance.

and Mayer counters with a straight right hand.
Lemmelin walks straight into a right hand from Mayer - that's dropped him! Mayer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lemmelin from any more punishment! Lemmelin complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
