Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo's entrance music is Champ.. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Halo's waist but Halo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Halo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Halo tries to land a leg kick but Jones saw it coming and moves away.
Halo stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Cristiano Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Jones.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Halo does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Halo is breathing heavily.

Halo is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Halo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Halo dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jones throws a head kick but Halo moves out of range.
Jones misses with a body kick.

Jones tries to sprawl but Halo drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Halo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jones has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Halo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Halo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jones tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Halo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
