Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke lands a nice hook to Machida's body. Machida takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Machida looks gassed!
Clarke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Machida defends it nicely.
Clarke cracks Machida with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Clarke lands with a shot to the body.

Clarke closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Machida did well to prevent Clarke getting side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leo Clarke.
Machida takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Spider Machida has been cut.
Machida takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Clarke is looking to clinch but Machida is avoiding it.
Clarke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Clarke takes the fight into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Clarke counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Machida! He's just covering up as Clarke starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
