Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paulo Kang!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang throws out a loose jab but Volkov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Volkov avoids the body shot from Kang.

Kang closes the distance and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Kang tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Volkov avoids it.
Kang throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Volkov blocks it with crossed arms.

Kang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Volkov.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kang lands a good knee to the midsection. Volkov won't want to take too many of those.

Volkov tries to break free but Kang pushes him back against the cage.

Paulo Kang seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Volkov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kang scrambles back to his feet.

Volkov motions for Kang to come forward. Volkov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Volkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Volkov tries to keep at a distance but Kang has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kang stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nikolai Volkov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kang scores with the left hand. Volkov knows he should have avoided that one.
Oh Volkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kang lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kang lands with a right and another and another! Volkov is in big trouble! Kang lands again and this time it's lights out for Volkov! A quality knockout there for Kang.

A relieved looking Paulo Kang thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
