The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malsone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Malsone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gerard with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gerard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Malsone was well out of range. Poor timing from Gerard.
Gerard takes one to the side of the head.
Malsone throws a sloppy head kick and Gerard moves out of range easily.
Gerard misses with an attempted mid kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Malsone.
Malsone wants to slow Gerard down by chopping away at his legs.
Malsone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Malsone is looking to chop away at Gerard's legs.
Gerard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Malsone throws a leg kick but Gerard sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Malsone looks gassed!
Malsone shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Malsone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Malsone takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Malsone is rocked!
Gerard throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Gerard misses the target.
Malsone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gerard lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gerard turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Gerard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Malsone sprawling to the canvas! Malsone rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gerard finish him?!
Malsone is still on wobbly legs! Can Gerard finish him?

Malsone circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Gerard. Malsone falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Gerard!
